The passengers blocked the road around 10am, said Liton Motin, inspector (patrol) of Banani Police Station.
Today's scenery of almost all bus stops around the capital were the same.
The government ordered public transports to run with 50 percent passengers of its carrying capacity amid the rising trend of coronavirus infection. The decision was taken to ensure passengers' health security. The mandate also followed an increase in the fare by 60%.
