Remittance flows fell in July amid anti-discrimination protests. However, soon after the fall of the Sheikh Hasina government, the flow of remittances began to slow down. In the first 24 days of August, 171 crore 83 lakh 30 thousand US dollars remittances have arrived in the country through legal channels. Out of this, from August 4 to August 10, 387,120,000 US dollars came and from August 11 to 17, 651,400,000 US dollars came, from August 18 to 24, 584,100,000 US
