At least 69 passengers from the United Kingdom have been sent to the seven-day compulsory institutional quarantine in the last 24 hours. The health control room said on Friday that they had been kept in the capital’s various government-designated residential hotels.
According to the doctor on duty at the health control room, a total of 5,558 people from different parts of the world have arrived at Shahjalal Airport in the last 24 hours. Of these, 69 passengers on seven flights have been sent to residential hotels and the remaining passengers have been sent to home quarantine. A total of 2,768 people were sent to quarantine from December 1 to March 12 till 8:00 am.
