The five day 'Jor Ijtema', a preparatory event of the Biswa Ijtema, began on the bank of Turag river at Tongi here early Friday. With the general sermon delivered by the Pakistani cleric Nayeem Shah, the formalities of the Jor Ijtema began after the Fazr prayer.
