Ekushey Book Fair has started in March due to Corona. So there was no chance of going to the book fair premises regularly during this March book fair. Because for two long months she had to work as the primary judge of the new reality show ‘Ananya Prativa’ organised by NTV. Even after the completion of the preliminary trial, at the request of producer Wahidul Islam Shuvro, Shanarei Devi Shanu, the popular actress of this time, got involved in other activities related to the show. But from today, she said, she will try to attend the March Book Fair regularly.
Two novels written by Shanu have been published in the book fair. An ‘Amar Ekta Tui Chai’, has been published by Ananya Prakashani. Another is 'Eti Meghbalak', published by Tamralipi Prakashani.
“It's a psychological thriller," Shanu said of ‘Amar Ekta Tui Chai’. “Here I have tried to highlight the love relationship between the three characters so that distrust destroys the unfounded suspicion. There is a tension at the end of this novel that the reader will actually understand when he/she will read it. On the other hand, ‘Eti Meghbalak’ is a novel of romantic story, a novel of love.”
“I am already getting quite a response from readers. Many people are also calling me when I go to the book fair in March to see when their sister will come, meet, talk, chat, take selfies. So I've really missed my fans so much. For whatever reason, from now on, I will try to go to the rest of the book fair every day.”
Shanu's first novel was 'Ekla Akash'. The second novel was ‘Lipstick.’
