Bangladesh entered into the eighth day of its vaccination
drive, with a total number of 9,06,033 vaccine recipients against a target of
35 lakh inoculation in the first month. On Sunday, 1,69,353 people received their first doses of
Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine across the country.
Of the recipients, 1,12,848 were male and 56,505 female, according to a press release issued by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
Meanwhile, 32 people developed minor side effects after getting their shots.
According to the DGHS, more than 17,46,000 people have registered for the vaccination till 6.05pm on Sunday.
