Educational institutions are going on a 17-day vacation on the occasion of the holy Eid-ul-Azha and summer vacation. This holiday will start from Thursday (June 13) and end on June 29.
On Tuesday (June 11), various educational institutions in the capital have already pulled the notice of this holiday.
It has been said that there will be 17 days of class vacation from June 13 to June 29 on the occasion of summer vacation and holy Eid-ul-Azha. Half-day classes will continue as usual from June 30. However, full day classes will continue from July 1.
Heads of educational institutions said that summer vacation is usually given in the month of June. This time, Eid-ul-Azha and summer are at the same time, so two holidays have been combined. However, if the school authorities want, they can separate Eid vacation and summer vacation.
Director (Secondary) of the Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education Professor Syed Zafar Ali said, 'We have different ideas about summer vacation. However, since the Eid holiday will start from next Thursday, any organization can offer summer vacation in coordination with the Eid holiday. Any changes regarding summer vacation will be notified later.'
