Finally, the workers have withdrawn the blockade in Ashulia with the assurance of the army. The workers said that around 12 noon, army personnel and law enforcement officers came to the spot and asked them to withdraw the blockade from the road. At one stage, the army officials said that the chairman of the Birds group has been detained. Road traffic should be normalized to bring him to the factory. After that, the workers left the road. They went to the main gate of the factory and took position.

They stayed on the road last Wednesday. Both sides of the road came to a standstill. The suffering of passengers increased to extremes.
The workers said four factories of Bird's group Bird's RNR Fashions Limited, Bird's Garments, Bird's FedEx and Bird's A&Z Limited announced closure for non-payment of dues.
