Islamic University (IU) has revealed the list of scholarship awardees for the 2017-2018 academic year, based on the results of the 2021 honors final examinations. A total of 13 students have been granted merit scholarships, while 141 students have been chosen for general scholarships.
The university's Deputy Registrar issued a notice regarding the scholarship selection process. Selected students are instructed to fill out and submit their details via a form on the IU website by September 8, 2024. They are required to provide their personal online bank account numbers for scholarship disbursement. Only those whose names appear in the published list are eligible to apply.
Recipients of the scholarships represent various faculties within the university. Notably, the Faculty of Business Administration awarded 2 merit scholarships and 25 general scholarships, while the Faculty of Science granted 2 merit and 9 general scholarships. In the Faculty of Engineering and Technology, 2 students received merit scholarships, with 14 receiving general scholarships. The Faculty of Biological Sciences saw 2 students earn merit scholarships and 7 receive general scholarships. Additionally, the Faculty of Law had 1 student awarded a merit scholarship and 15 general scholarships. The Faculty of Theology and Islamic Studies granted 2 merit scholarships and 17 general scholarships, and the Faculty of Arts provided 1 merit scholarship and 24 general scholarships. Lastly, the Faculty of Social Sciences awarded 1 merit scholarship and 30 general scholarships.
