Bangladesh Shop Owners' Welfare Association (BSOWA) has announced to keep all shops, market and shopping malls open across the country amid lockdown following government directives on health guidelines.
They issued a press release announcing the decision on Sunday.
Signed by General Secretary Arifur Rahman Tipu, the release said traders can conduct their businesses by following the health department's policy and law enforcement directives.
The organisation thanked Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina for approving the reopening of shopping malls and markets.
Toufik Ehsan, president of the organisation, said, "We have decided to keep shops and markets open in compliance with all government directives."
