Shamsul Haque Tuku, MP, Chairman, Parliamentary Caucus on Child Rights (PCCR) and Standing Committee on Ministry of Home Affairs, is receiving a petition with 5000 signatures at his office on Monday with the urge to raise the issue of prohibiting corporal punishment as well as incorporating PHP related issues in the proposed amended bill of Children Act-2013 in the upcoming parliament session. A.K.M Mustaque Ali, Executive Director, INCIDIN Bangladesh and Focal, Shishu Surokhay Amra (SSA) handed the petition. Mushfiqur Rahman, Advocacy Focal, Mahboob Mirza, Project Coordinator, Nurjahan Akter, Case Manager cum Counselor, INCIDIN Bangladesh and Hamid Al Mahboob, PS of chairman of Standing Committee on Ministry of Home Affairs also attended.
