‘Ami Dekhechi Siri beye, Kemon Kore Pitar Buker Rokto Jhore’ - the
lyrics were written by the lyricist Sujan Hajong. Nishita Barua sang the song
titled 'Roktomakha Siri’ on Thursday at D Station Studio in Moghbazar. Its
melody and music have been arranged by Sumon Kalyan.
Regarding the song, lyricist Sujan Hajong said, “Bangladesh is like climbing the father's blood-stained stairs. Our river, the dew of the morning, the fountain is stained with the blood of the Father's chest. I think in this song the new generation will find Bangabandhu in the beacon of their consciousness. Because through this song I have united Bangabandhu with our Bengali and Bengali consciousness, nature and existence.”
Nishita Barua said the lyrics are poetic and melodic. The melody and music are touching. I am proud to sing this song about Bangabandhu. I hope the song will touch the hearts of the masses. The song will be aired on Sujan Hajong's YouTube channel on the occasion of National Mourning Day.
