Mita Haque, the country's delightful Rabindra Sangeet artist, is no more (Innalillahi wa inna elaihi rajiun). She died at the Bangladesh Specialized Hospital in the capital around 8:30 am on Sunday. Mita Haque's daughter Farheen Khan Jayita confirmed the matter.
She said she was undergoing treatment for Covid. She was admitted to the hospital last March 31 after contracting the deadly coronavirus.
Mita Haque's daughter Farheen Khan Jayita then said that on March 25, Mita Haque's covid report came positive. She was in isolation at home before being admitted to the hospital.
Mita Haque has been suffering from kidney disease for the last 5 years. She was also good with regular dialysis. But this time she has become a bit weak mentally and physically due to Covid. So she was admitted to the hospital for intensive care. But in the end he succumbed to death.
Mita Haque was born in September 1972 in Dhaka. She was the wife of late actor Khaled Khan. Her uncle is Wahidul Haque, a pioneer of the cultural movement in the country and a Rabindra researcher. Daughter Jayita is also a Rabindra musician.
In 1990, Beauty Corner released Mita Khan's first Rabindra Sangeet album 'Amar Mon Mane Na'. She has given voice in about 200 Rabindra Sangeet. Most of her, about twenty albums, have come from Kolkata. He also has a song school called 'Suratirtha'.
