There are only a handful of luxury yachts sailing the world’s oceans today. Each one is unique in its way, much like the often-mysterious owners at the helm. You would think that, with a $5 billion yacht, you would want to show off your achievements, but most want to escape from the trouble of the world and enjoy a cruise in luxury and style.

Oh, and sail in style they do. With solid gold paneling, bulletproof windows, helicopter power connections, marina power connectors, onboard voltage regulators, and miniature landmarks from countries such as Monaco, these yachts were built to impress anyone lucky enough to set foot on the deck.

1. History Supreme

Owner: Robert Knok

Price: $4.8 Billion

Solid. Gold. At $4.8 billion, the History Supreme, owned by Robert Knok, is the world’s most expensive, largest superyacht in the whole world. At 100 feet in length, History Supreme took three years to build, using 10,000 kilograms of solid gold and platinum, both of which adorn the dining area, deck, rails, staircases, and anchor. If that weren’t luxurious enough, the master suite features a meteorite rock wall, a statue made of Tyrannosaurus Rex bones, a 68 kg 24-carat gold Aquavista Panoramic Wall Aquarium, and a liquor bottle adorned with a rare 18.5-carat diamond.

2. Eclipse

Owner: Roman Abramovich

Price: $1.5 Billion

Roman Abramovich, the Russian billionaire, owns the second-largest luxury yacht in the world. The Eclipse features an intruder detection missile system, two helipads, 24 guest cabins, two swimming pools, a dance hall, hot tubs, a mini-submarine, armor plating, bulletproof windows, and an anti-paparazzi shield with sweeping laser beams. Built by Blohm and Voss, designed by Terence Disdale, Abramovich spent $1.5 billion constructing the 533-foot yacht.

3. Streets of Monaco

Owner: N/A

Price: $1.1 Billion

At an impressive 500 feet in length, the Streets of Monaco luxury yacht manages to pack in numerous miniatures of renowned landmarks from throughout Monaco. But that’s not all. The vessel is called a “floating city” due to the three-floor bedroom with a private elevator, an office, sundecks, balconies, a café-bar, mini waterfall, barbecue pit, underwater viewing deck, helicopters, submarines, guest suits, dressing rooms, reception rooms, and so much more. $1 billion will build a lot of yacht.

4. Azzam

Owner: Owned by a member of the royal family of the UAE

Price: $600 Million

The UAE is prosperous. The Azzam is yet another luxury yacht owned by a member of the royal family in Dubai. At $600 million, the Azzam is 590 feet long, one of the fastest luxury yachts globally, and adorned in French design and decoration, thanks to Christophe Leonie, who designed the interiors.

5. Topaz

Owner: Shaikh Mansour

Price: $527 Million

In total, the Topaz features an astounding eight decks for various exotic viewing experiences. Shaikh Mansour’s yacht’s interior includes a large jacuzzi, full air conditioning, underwater lighting, two helipads, a modern gymnasium, cinema, and a conference room for business purposes.
