Let’s transform a kid’s life this Ramadan with Lafz

Ashroy Foundation, is a non- profitable organization, with a mission to remove illiteracy and lower rates of poverty in Bangladesh. This prestigious organization is located at Rayerbazar (Dhaka, Bangladesh) where free education is imparted to a large number of street children. Along with education, they provide shelter, health facilities, medical services, sanitization and many more fundamental amenities. This Ramadhan, Lafz, (a halal Singaporean lifestyle brand) united with Ashroy foundation to help the deprived children of this organization. Lafz came up with the campaign of “Gift a smile “where a customer is required to buy a gift box from which 25% of the proceeds will be indirectly contributed for the purpose of education for the poor children of this voluntary establishment. This gift box comes in different price ranges and categories. Each customer can opt for a gift box according to their budget suitability. So, let’s move ahead with the motive to help as many kids as possible through this wonderful program.

Ramadan is an auspicious time to do more and more humanitarian work and engage in charitable work like giving away clothes, donating money to different social organizations, arranging iftar (evening meal to break fast) for poor children and women, giving funds to mosques and helping many small business entrepreneurs for their sustainable growth. This is a time to purify one’s soul and multiply one’s good deeds to a great extent. The holy month should be utilized to quit bad habits and develop gratitude in one’s heart and forgive people to spread warmth and love around. One should double the amount of mercy in one’s heart and keep doing acts of piety.

As Lafz and Ashroy foundation share the concept of peace- making and building an educated nation, collaborating together to help one another has become easier.
