Bollywood actress Malaika Arora is a fitness enthusiast and she never misses a chance to motivate her fans on social media by sharing videos of her workout and yoga. She recently showed her followers ‘Anulom Vilom’ yoga which helps increase lung capacity.
Along with the video, she wrote, ‘During these tough times, it is very very important to make Pranayama, a part of our daily life and this #MalaikasMoveOfTheWeek let’s do a simple form of Pranayama, Anulom Vilom (Alternate Nostril Breathing Technique) that helps in boosting immunity and improving your lung capacity. Start with 6 rounds of Anulom Vilom should be practiced regularly with at least 2 hours of the interval before/after having food. You can go up to 21 rounds.’
Malaika recovered successfully from COVID-19 last year and since then she has been largely practicing and propagating yoga to people around her. Now, the actress has even started a 14-day workshop for people through her Yoga app.
It reportedly boasts of physical and mental wellness programmes. The actress will also be seen giving diet tips and immunity-boosting ideas in the workshop. With hampered sleeping schedules being among the factors affecting people in the lockdown, Arora added that her programme will also address rest.
