Now Isha Khan, the owner of 'Jhangar' cinema hall located in Dhunte, Bogra, raised a serious complaint against the production company Alpha I. He claimed that he was cheated with the movie 'Tufan'. He alleged that owner Isha Khan and her daughter Ishita Emu were assaulted when they came to Dhaka to shoot a movie.
In this context, Ishita said, we go to Alpha Eye office to take the movie Tufan. When we wanted to pay 3 lakh taka, they told us that the opposition party wanted to pay 5 lakh taka. We also wanted to pay five lakh rupees. Three lakhs cash and two lakhs check. They then promised to give us the movie and asked us to come the next day. As usual, when we went to the office the next day, we found out that the film was given to the opposition for 6 lakh taka. A boy named Soukhin misbehaved with us asking why he gave us to the opposition without informing us. Then when we protested, the producer Shahriar Shakeel came from inside and behaved like pushing us out.
Shahriar Shakeel, the producer of the movie and managing director of Alpha Eye, did not respond when contacted. However, Shakib Soukhin denied the allegation. However, the owner of the 'Jhangar' cinema hall and his daughter also alleged that Soukhin had given the movie to them with a 'bribe' from the owner of the opposition hall.
Mia Alauddin, Vice President of the Exhibitors Association and Aolad Hossain Ujjal, General Secretary were present at the scene. The owner of 'Jhangar' cinema hall and his daughter said that they will take legal action if the organization does not take action. Awlad Hossain called Ujjwal's mobile phone to find out about this, but it was closed.
