Over the last couple of days, there has been an ongoing debate about the government-granted film ‘Ashirbad’. Now, actress Mahiya Mahi has filed a charge sheet against the co-producer of the movie, Tahera Ferdous Jennifer, with the Film Artistes' Association on Tuesday.
"I have been working in this industry since 2012. Recently, the co-producer of the film 'Ashirbad', Tahera Ferdous Jennifer, has been making various false accusations against me. She has also passed negative comments about me as well. These comments have gone viral on social media and YouTube. She has also threatened to file a false case against me," wrote Mahiya Mahi in the charge sheet.
Mahi also added that she is embarrassed by all of these false statements and provocative actions taken by Tahera Ferdous Jennifer.
‘These statements have caused the public to perceive a negative image of film artistes. I am protesting against all of these false and controversial statements, that are being used to humiliate me’, added Mahi.
‘Ashirbad’ will be released on August 19. The film's hero and heroine, Mahiya Mahi and Roshan, were not present at the press conference organised before the film's release. In this regard, co-producer Jennifer said that the hero and heroine were not invited to the press conference as they did not share the poster of the film on Facebook.
