A court in Dhaka on Tuesday has directed to file a report on July 8 after investigating the case filed by film actress Pori Moni at Savar Model Police Station on charges of attempted rape, attempted murder and threatening.
“Dhaka Senior Judicial Magistrate Kamrun Nahar accepted the statement of the case,” confirmed court’s General Registration Officer (GRO) ASI Osman Munshi on Tuesday.
Earlier, a total of five people, including the main accused businessman Nasir Uddin Mahmud and three women, were arrested in connection with the attempted rape and murder to Pori Moni.
DMP Detective Police raided Nasir Uddin’s residence on Uttara-1, Sector-12 road in the capital on Monday afternoon. Foreign liquor and yaba were recovered from his house at that time.
Pori Moni filed a case against Nasir Uddin and six others at Savar police station on Monday.
