The government today (June 5) said coaching centres will remain closed from June 29 to August 11 to hold Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and equivalent examinations in a fair, and copy-free environment.
Education Minister Mohibul Hassan Chowdhoury said this at a press conference at the Secretariat in the morning.
He said all the coaching centres have been asked to shut for 44 days to hold the HSC and equivalent examinations in a fair manner.
Education Minister said that 14, 50, 790 candidates will participate in this year examination. A total of 91, 448 candidates have increased compared to last time.
This year's Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and equivalent examinations will start from June 30.
