Youth and Sports Adviser Asif Mahmud Sajib Bhuiyan does not see any legal obstacle to Shakib Al Hasan's return to the country and later leaving the country. Today at the Mirpur Sherbangla Stadium press conference, he clearly said, '(Shakib) should not have any obstacles in coming or going out of the country.'

If all goes well, the first Test of the South Africa series starting on October 21 will be the last Test of Shakib's career. Before the Kanpur Test in India, he announced that he wants to say goodbye to Test cricket by playing this match.

From that discussion, will Sakib, the accused in the murder case, fall into any legal complications when he returns to the country? Will he be able to leave the country again? Do not face any legal obstacles because of the case!

The issue has been clarified several times before from various levels of the government. Still, the curiosity does not go away. That is why the sports advisor had to say once again, 'A cricketer, he will play and he is a citizen of Bangladesh.' I don't see any obstacle in coming.' The advisor said, 'It is the responsibility of the state to ensure the safety of every citizen. It is also the responsibility of the state to ensure the security of the cricket team. We will make sure of that.'

A party has been campaigning against Shakib for two-three days outside the Mirpur Sherebangla Stadium. There are also various anti-Shakib graffitis on the outside walls of the stadium. Yesterday there was an incident outside the stadium between the two groups who were against Shakib and who were in favor of Shakib.

Asif Mahmood sees the behavior of Shakib's opponents as an expression of their emotions, 'It is actually a matter of emotions. They also have that right. In a democratic country, there is a constitutional right to any kind of movement or to do anything.'

At the same time, he reminded, any kind of unstable situation can threaten the Bangladesh-South Africa two-Test series, 'security should be respected. Since South Africa will come here, we also have to keep the environment good. Otherwise, foreign countries will feel security problems in coming to play here.'

Asif Mahmud appealed to everyone that no one's safety should be threatened. If there is any legal issue, it will follow the law. Quoting an earlier statement of legal advisor Asif Nazrul, the sports advisor said, 'If there is no involvement, the name (of Shakib) will be dropped from the murder case.'

Shakib, however, has already clarified his political stance in a post on his verified Facebook page. He also expressed regret over the silence of the students during the movement.

Asked about the sports advisor's comment in this regard, he said, 'There has been a big movement and Shakib Al Hasan had involvement with the previous fascist government. He explained this in his post, but still some emotions remain. But it appears that there is no legal problem so far.

He hopes that the people of Bangladesh will be respectful of the law, 'Law is like law. I think the people of Bangladesh respect the law enough. This has been proven before. There has been such a big coup. After such a coup, the situation in our country has not gone that way. I believe that the people of Bangladesh will keep their position.
