Rangpur Riders cemented their place on the top of the ongoing Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) as they clinched their fifth consecutive win by beating Dhaka Capitals by 7 wickets at the Sylhet International Cricket Stadium on Tuesday.
Rangpur comfortably chased down 112 set by Dhaka keeping 40 balls in hand thanks to Alex Hales’ 44 and Khushdil Shah’s unbeaten 27.
Khushdil had a fantastic day with both bat and ball. Before scoring an unbeaten 27 with the bat, he picked up two wickets with the ball in hand.
But Rangpur’s star bowler was Nahid Rana, picking up three wickets to bundle Dhaka for 111. Akif Javed also bagged a brace.
