An youth was hacked to death in a picnic attack at Sadar upazila in in Bogura. Two of Tuhin's associates were seriously injured at the incident. The attack took place at around 11pm on Saturday in a eucalyptus orchard in Nishindara Khanpara area of Sadar. The deceased was identified as Tuhin Babu alias Queen (26), son of Shahidur Rahman of the area.
The injured were identified as Mohammad Rahim (32), and Jhantu (25), of the same area. Among them Rahim is the uncle of deceased Tuhin. They are currently undergoing treatment at Bogura Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College (SZMC) Hospital. Their condition is critical. This information was confirmed by Sub-Inspector (SI) Abdur Rahim of Bogura Suburban Police Outpost.

It was known that Tuhin and his associates organized a picnic at night in the eucalyptus garden of Nishindara Khan-para area. They were attacked there by opponents. There were 10-12 attackers. They hacked Tuhin, Rahim and Jhantu with sharp weapons and fled. They were later rescued and taken to SZMC Hospital. The on-duty doctor declared Tuhin dead. The other two are undergoing treatment.
Bogura Chilimpur (Medical) police outpost SI Shamim Hossain said Tuhin's body was in the hospital morgue. The body will be handed over to the family after the autopsy on Sunday. The condition of the two injured is also critical.
