Following instructions of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, mother of world humanity, Eid gifts were distributed among 500 unemployed families at Kalabagan Krira Chakra ground on Thursday on the initiative of Bangladesh Awami Swechchhasebak League. AFM Bahauddin Nasim, Joint General Secretary of Bangladesh Awami League was present at the programme as the chief guest.
Speaking at the function, Nasim said, "The activists of Bangladesh Awami League and its affiliated organizations have started working for the people at the grass roots level as per the instructions of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. We cannot overcome death, but we can work to face the death. BNP-Jamaat could not stand by the people in this difficult time. They are telling lies. They don’t do politics for the people. As long as Corona came, we will continue to work for the people. Awami League and its affiliated organizations will continue humanitarian activities. People need to be united with the spirit of Liberation War to keep the momentum of non-communal development alive against those who use communal evil power in politics. All the evil forces will be dealt with 160 million people."
