On the occasion of Eid-ul-Adha, metro rail will be closed on June 17.
Dhaka Mass Transit Company Limited (DMTCL) Managing Director MAN Siddique revealed this information on Thursday (June 13) afternoon.
Apart from this, according to the new schedule of the government office, the metro rail will run on the new schedule after the holy Eid-ul-Adha, he said.
MAN Siddique said that the peak and off-peak hours of Metrorail are going to change from June 19. Mainly, the earlier time has changed due to the new office schedule set by the government.
He said, on the occasion of Eid-ul-Adha, skins of sacrificial animals and raw or cooked meat cannot be carried in metro trains. At the same time, the previously imposed restrictions will remain in place.
