On the International Day of Disabled Persons, a day-long art contest was organized in Swid Bangladesh by Ladies Circle Bangladesh Chapter on Saturday. About half a hundred specialized children took part in it. The day-long contest was not themed or subjective.

The children all painted on white paper in the colors of their minds. Some have painted flowers, birds, some have painted the red and green flag of Bangladesh. Monidipa Dasgupta and Assafra Mim was the visualizer of these children's paintings throughout the day. In addition, the Swedish Bangladesh authorities were with the overall cooperation in this event.

Moutushi Khandaker, President of the Ladies Circle Bangladesh Chapter, said, `These Special children are our golden citizen. The Ladies Circle stands by them as a step towards mainstreaming their daily lives. Our program will continue in the days to come’.

The event was organized by Ladies' Circle Bangladesh, supported by Hyderabad Youth Round Table-304, Ladies' Circle Hyderabad, Round Table Dhaka and SSC'99- Back to School. The event sponsored by Naza, Prokashoba Dotcom, Ehk Foundation and Core Tutorial.
