On the occasion of the 101st birth anniversary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, Bangladesh Army International University of Science and Technology-BAIUST has carried out various programs. At 10:00 a.m. on the occasion of the 101st birth anniversary at the BAIUST Auditorium. Ridwan Hossain was the first to recite from the Holy Quran. The main program started with the national anthem in a melodious voice. Riduwanal Mostafa, Adviser of the Cultural Club, delivered the welcome address. The program also featured a documentary on important chapters of Bangabandhu's struggling life (Children's Bangabandhu, Humanist Bangabandhu, Bangabandhu the embodiment of development, Bangabandhu in rebuilding the country and Bangabandhu in defense). Dr. Fatema Johra, Head of Business Administration Department, presented an essay titled The Glorious Life-History of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. Student Tanjil Haider reviewed the book of Bangabandhu's prison diary. In his speech, Vice-Chancellor Prof. KM Salzar Hossain (Retd.) Said that the unique achievement of the Bengalis of the last century was to achieve independence through the great war of liberation under Bangabandhu's leadership. And celebration of the birth centenary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. Basically Bangabandhu and Swadhinata together. The nation must move forward on the path of the future by following the life-ideology of Bangabandhu and learning from his sacrifice and hard work. Special prayers were offered on the occasion seeking peace and forgiveness of Bangabandhu's soul. Treasurer Colonel Professor Mosharraf Hossain (Retd.) was also present at the ceremony. Registrar Colonel Sumon Kumar Barua (Retd.), Dean, Head of Department, Teachers, Member Officers and Staff of Cultural Club. The event was held under the auspices of the BAIUST Cultural Club. Cultural BAIUST student Tasneem Jerin conducted the program. Assistant Professor Mohinur Akhter acted as the coordinator of the program. Later, a pleasant cultural performance was held with the participation of the members of the BAIUST Cultural Club.
