Alleged that an attempt has been made to kill Hasnat Abdullah, convener of the Students Against Discrimination (SAD), again by hitting him with a car within a few hours of the Chattogram incident.
A mini pickup rammed the private car carrying Hasnat Abdullah at Jatrabari in the capital at 9:20 am on Thursday (November 28).
Later, another SAD coordinator Hannan Masud informed the matter with a status on Facebook.
Hasnat told a media outlet that a truck hit the vehicle carrying them in Matuail and ran away. Later, the car was again damaged after hitting by a mini-truck in Gulistan. Although he is physically healthy, Hasnat Abdullah suspects that the consecutive accidents are “planned attacks”.
Earlier, an attempt was made to kill SAD coordinators Hasnat Abdullah and Sarjis Alam by ramming the car carrying them with a truck.
The incident took place at Haji Street junction of Chunti Union on Chattogram-Cox’s Bazar highway at around 7:30 pm on the way back after performing the Namaz-e-Janaza and visiting the grave of slain Advocate Saiful Islam Alif on Wednesday (November 27).
