Standard Chartered is going to celebrate the Golden Jubilee of Independence with the theme 'It's time for Bangladesh.' On this occasion, the multinational universal bank has launched six campaign programmes as part of its active presence in the country with a unique blend of deep-rooted local presence and capacity to capitalise on its global network and product coverage as a partner in progress for this nation for many years in the past and aim to continue to do so in the coming days.

Bitopi Das Chowdhury, Head of Corporate Affairs, Brand and Marketing, Standard Chartared Bangladesh also spoke. Sara Zaker, Vice Chairperson of Asiatic3Sixty, Nakib Khan, Corporate Affairs Director of Nestle Bangladesh, among others, were present.
Naser Ezaz Bijoy said, "On the momentous occasion of 50 years of Independence of Bangladesh, we feel that it’s the time for Bangladesh; time to reach new heights and surpass own achievements of progress and prosperity of the last 50 years. It would be an honour and privilege to be part of that journey as well."

Speaking on the occasion, Ezaz said SCB has announced a partnership in January 2021 to jointly promote Bangladesh as a preferred investment destination and work together to bring in targeted global investments to the country with Bangladesh Investment Development Authority (BIDA) and organized China- Bangladesh Investment webinar in February.
