This information was given in the weather forecast for the inland river ports of the country till Thursday (June 6) evening.
It said that temporary gusty or gusty winds may blow over Rajshahi, Pabna, Bogra, Tangail, Mymensingh, Sylhet and Comilla regions with a speed of 45 to 60 km per hour from west or north-west with rain or thunder.
River ports in these areas have been asked to display warning signal number 1.
Meanwhile, in the 72-hour forecast of the Meteorological Department, it is said that on this day, light to moderate rain and thunder with gusty winds will occur in most places of Rangpur, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions and many places of Rajshahi and Dhaka divisions, some places of Chittagong division and two places of Khulna and Barisal divisions. It may rain. On the other hand, there may be heavy to very heavy rainfall in some parts of the country.
