Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) today (May 12) predicted rain or thundershower accompanied by temporary gusty or squally wind is likely to occur at many places over seven divisions and at a few places over Chattogram division.
According to the BMD bulletin, rain or thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty or squally wind is likely to occur at many places over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Dhaka, Mymensingh, Khulna, Barishal and Sylhet divisions and at a few places over Chattogram division with hails at isolated places.
Trough of westerly low lies over West Bengal to North-West Bay.
Country's maximum temperature was recorded 34.7 degree Celsius at Rajshahi and minimum temperature today was recorded 21.2 degree Celsius at Srimangal.
Maximum rainfall for the last twenty-four hours till 6am today was recorded 87 millimeters (mm) at Dhaka.
