The Bangladesh team reached Christchurch on Friday to play the two-match Test series against the Kiwis. The team started their mandatory quarantine at the Managed Isolation facility in Christchurch before they can begin practice sessions.
The Tigers were seen sitting around in the lounge of the airport in a video provided to the media by the BCB. Taskin Ahmed said in the video that quarantine process will start and while it was difficult, he was ready to do whatever needed for the country.
"We reached New Zealand after a long flight. We have all reached in good health. We will have seven days of room quarantine and although it will be tough, we are prepared to do anything for the country. We hope the coming days will be good and hope everyone prays so that we can maintain good health and contribute with good performances," Taskin said in the video.
