Bangladesh young pacer Shoriful Islam has revealed his goal to take the wicket of India captain Virat Kohli in the upcoming T20 World Cup, which begins on October 17 in the United Arab Emirates.
When Shoriful was asked about his ambition, he told the media if he gets a chance to play against India he will definitely try to take out Kohli in the global event. "If I play against India, I will definitely try to take the wicket of Virat Kohli," Shoriful told the media on Saturday. Shoriful made his debut in all three formats for the national team. The U-19 world cup winner said he is having the same feeling what he felt before his first World Cup.
“I played in the U-19 World Cup. I had a different feeling before taking part in it. I’m feeling the same before the big event,” he added. Bangladesh will start their T20 World Cup Qualifiers campaign against Scotland. The match will be played at the Oman Cricket Academy ground in Muscat on October 17. The Tigers will face Oman and Papua New Guinea on October 19 and 21 respectively.
