Bangladesh left-arm pacer Mustafizur Rahman has been praised by his teammate Chetan Sakaria, who has made his debut for Rajasthan Royals in the Indian Premier League (IPL).
Cutter Master Mustafiz was bagged by Rajasthan for this season at the base price of INR 1 crore. This is Mutafiz’s fourth season in IPL, He made his debut in IPL for Sunrisers Hyderabad where his team won the title. He was also named as “Emerging Player of the Tournament”, the first overseas player to receive this award.
Sakaria in a interview said that Mustafiz cooperated with him throughout the season. He would informed him about the wicket, give advices when to bowl slower delivery. For this reason, Mustafiz has been praised by him.
“Mustafizur is a good reader of the wicket. He will tell you when to bowl your slower delivery. He knows how to unsettle the rhythm of a batsman,” said Sakaria
Butler's contribution to Sakaria's strong bowling was also noted. Despite being a batsman, the English cricketer had experience playing in many other franchise tournaments. He said Buttler have assisted him with his bowling.
“Buttler, though a batsman, told me a lot about bowling in the Powerplay. He would stand beside me when I bowled during the practice games. He told me to stick to the length and not worry about conceding a boundary. It’s just that there should not be a single loose delivery,” he said.
Sakaria appeared in 7 matches and has taken 7 wickets, averaging 31.71 with a strike rate of 23.14 and an economy of 8.22. While, Mustafiz took 8 wickets in seven matches, averaging 28.00 with an economy of 8.29.
