Skipper Hardik Pandya made 34 as Gujarat Titans beat Rajasthan Royals by seven wickets to win the Indian Premier League final in front of a record crowd of 104,859 on Sunday.
Chasing a modest 131 for victory in their debut season, Gujarat depended on a 63-run third-wicket partnership between Shubman Gill, who made 45 not out, and Pandya to achieve their target with 11 balls to spare in Ahmedabad.
Earlier Pandya, a fast bowler, returned figures of 3-17 including Jos Buttler's prized scalp for 39 to keep down Rajasthan to 130-9.
