The 3rd outlet of Mehedi Mart, a sister concern of Rangdhanu Group, one of the leading industrial groups in the country, was inaugurated on April 14, 2022 at Chashara in Narayanganj. Hon'ble State Minister for Local Government, Rural Development and Cooperatives Swapan Bhatracharya was present as the special guest at the inaugural function presided over by Rangdhanu Group Chairman Alhaj Rafiqul Islam at 4 pm at BSBL Commercial Complex in the city. Also present among other guests were AKM Shamim Osman, MP from Narayanganj-4 constituency, Nazrul Islam Babu, MP from Narayanganj-2 constituencies, former Jatiya Party MP Mashiur Rahman Ranga, MP Kazim Uddin Dhanu, District Superintendent of Police Zaidul Alam and many others.
Rangdhanu Group has been playing an important role for the last one decade in creating employment and eliminating unemployment in the country. Currently owned by the group, Rangdhanu Builders is investing in IT, energy and banking sectors including Rangdhanu Agro, RG Lifestyle, Mehedi Food Court, Supershop-Bazar Sarabela, RG Media Limited. At present 12 thousand people are working in these organizations. The Rainbow Group is working towards the goal of providing employment to 50,000 people in the coming days.
