Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is going to Delhi, India on Friday, June 21 as part of a pre-scheduled bilateral visit. The Prime Minister of Bangladesh will pay a state visit at the invitation of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He will stay in New Delhi from June 21 to 22 on the occasion of this important bilateral visit. This information was informed in a circular sent from the press wing of the Prime Minister's office. Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina went to India last June 8 to attend the swearing-in ceremony of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and her entourage are scheduled to leave Dhaka for Palam Airport on a special Bangladesh Biman flight at 2 pm on Friday, June 21. On this day (June 21) after arriving in Delhi, Indian Foreign Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar.
At the beginning of the second day, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will be given a formal welcome at the Rashtrapati Bhavan in New Delhi's forecourt. The Prime Minister will take the armed salute and inspect the guard of honour. The national anthems of both countries will be played. An official photograph will also be taken with the President of India in this episode.
After that, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will lay wreath and sign the visitation book at Mahatma Gandhi's mausoleum at Rajghat.
On the same day, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will visit Hyderabad House for an official meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi. There will be a private meeting between the Prime Minister of India and the Prime Minister of Bangladesh. Discussions at delegation level and exchange of MoUs and agreements signed between the two countries and press statements of the two leaders will be held simultaneously.
Later, the heads of the two countries will attend a state lunch.
In the next phase, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will meet Indian Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar on June 22 afternoon. Later, he will hold a private meeting with Indian President Draupadi Murmu and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
If all goes well, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will return to Dhaka on a special Bangladesh Biman flight at 6 pm local time.
