The grant will be provided from the Prime Minister's Relief and Welfare Fund.

In 2017, as per the instruction of the PM, the Islamic Foundation established 1,010 madrasas at upazila level, named, 'Darul Arkam' under the Mosque-Based Mass Education Programme for Children (Phase 6).

The project ended on December 31, 2019. A new project is underway to re-launch Darul Arkam Ibtedai Madrasa.

The PM provided this grant to alleviate the financial difficulties of the teachers in the prevailing situation of coronavirus pandemic.
