However, on the first day, all the trains leaving from Kamalapur in the capital fell into a disaster Although this journey is supposed to start from 6:30 in the morning, the first train to the destination leaves at 8:30.
As a result, thousands of homebound passengers have suffered. The station has to wait for a long time in the intense heat. Those who bought tickets on 2nd are returning home today.
On Wednesday (June 12) at 8:30 a.m., Kamalapur railway station was crowded with people. Basically, on the first day of the Eid journey, the train schedule was disrupted and the station was crowded. Stating that the railway is going through a transitional period due to heat wave, mango special train and several development projects, the station manager said that this delay in the railway will be over soon.
The first train of the day from Dhaka railway station, Dhumketu Express (769) bound for Rajshahi left the station at 7:20 am one hour and 20 minutes late. The second train of the day, Tourist Express (816) left about 40 minutes late at 6:50. The third train Sylhet-bound Parabat Express (709) was scheduled to leave at 6:30 am but it left Dhaka station at 8:30 am. Although the Egarosindur Prabhati (737) train bound for Kishoreganj was supposed to leave at 7:15 am, it left at 9:19 am.
Also, Mohanganj-bound Mahua Commuter (43) was scheduled to leave at 8:15 am but did not get a platform at 11:30 am; Chittagong-bound Karnaphuli Commuter (4) was scheduled to leave at 8:45 a.m. but that too has not received any platform so far; The Rangpur-bound Rangpur Express (771) left Dhaka station at 9:57 a.m. with a delay of 40 minutes.
The first Eid special train of the day 'Dewanganj Eid Special' was scheduled to leave at 9:25 but the train left Dhaka station at 10:25 with a delay of 1 hour. The Jamalpur Express (799) bound for Jamalpur was scheduled to leave at 10 am but the train did not get a platform even at 11 am. Panchagarhgrami Ekta Express left Dhaka station at 10:40 am 25 minutes late.
One of the Kishoreganj-bound passengers of the morning train from Egarosindu said that the train was supposed to leave at 7:30 a.m. but now it is past 9:00 a.m., the train has not left. I can't tell you why I didn't quit.
Sohel Rana, another passenger of the train on the platform said, I will go to Rangpur. I came to Dhaka railway station at 8:30. The train is scheduled to leave at 9:10. But now it is 9:30. But the train did not come to the platform.
