The government has issued new directives asking the authorities concerned to run offices with half employees from January 24 to February 6 with a view to preventing Covid-19 transmission across the country. The Cabinet Division issued a notification in this regard Sunday night.
The notification said all government, semi-government, autonomous and private offices have been asked to operate with half of their staff in-person following health safety guidelines, while the rest will work virtually. The Supreme Court will issue separate directives on running court activities during this period.
The Bangladesh Bank and the Financial Institutions Division will issue necessary directives for banks, insurance companies and other financial institutions to this end.
