Bangladesh Railway has canceled the journey break of all the trains in the western part of Dhaka at the airport railway station.
Eid Yatra will start from tomorrow Wednesday (June 12). The trains will accept this decision from this day till June 16, the day before Eid. This decision of the authorities to solve the schedule disaster.
The action plan taken by Bangladesh Railways recently on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha also includes, Sundarban, Madhumati, Benapole Express, Nakshikantha and Chandana commuter trains will start from the suburban platform of Dhaka Railway Station.
Regarding the issue of tickets, it is said that from tomorrow, no tickets will be issued for inter-zonal intercity trains from Joydevpur and Airport Station to Dhaka and from Dhaka Station to Airport and Joydevpur. On the occasion of Eid, 10 days before Eid and 10 days after Eid, saloon cars will not be added to the train. This decision has been taken to facilitate the travel of ticket holders.
To prevent ticketless passengers, round-the-clock vigil will be arranged at Dhaka, Airport, Joydevpur, Chittagong, Mymensingh, Sylhet, Rajshahi, Khulna and other major stations with the cooperation of GRP, RNB, BGB and local police and RAB to prevent ticketless passengers from entering the station. Moreover, mobile courts will be run with the help of District Administrators.
Apart from this, members of RAB, BGB, local police and other law and order forces have been asked to be active in moving trains, stations or railway lines to prevent vandalism.
