Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal has said that there is no lobbying or pressure to obstruct the investigation of the murder case of Jhenaidah-4 Constituency Member of Parliament Anwarul Azim Anna. He said that the investigation is proceeding in the right direction.

He said these things to reporters at the secretariat on Wednesday (June 12) at noon.

Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal said, it is natural that Anar's daughter will seek justice for her father's murder. He requested that no one gets away with the investigation. There is no lobbying or pressure in the investigation of this murder. Who will push? The investigation process will proceed as per the findings of the investigation.

He said that if former IGP Benazir Ahmed made a mistake, it will be investigated. No complaint came to the ministry while he was IGP. So there is no question of taking responsibility.

Earlier, MP Anar's daughter Mumtarin Ferdous Doreen met Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal at noon. At this time, he claimed that there is lobbying from many places in the incident of this murder. "There's lobbying from a lot of places," Doreen said. So that the judicial process is not obstructed by the pressure of lobbying. The masterminds should be arrested and brought to justice. Those who committed the murder, want justice. Fair trial must be ensured.

Regarding the meeting with the Home Minister, he said, the Home Minister has assured me that the law and justice will proceed at their own pace. Criminals will not pass.

Doreen said, the one who has been detained is not our opponent. He is not his father's enemy. Who is holding him? Three phones disappearing in a day, money transactions - these things are suspicious. Who is the supplier of this money?

Meanwhile, new information is emerging regarding the killing of MP Anwarul Azim Anna. Early in the investigation, it emerged that the murders might have been due to smuggling. But now it has turned towards politics. The family of the deceased also claimed that the murder was caused by a political dispute.
