Admission tests for MBBS and BDS courses will be held as per previous schedule, maintaining health guidelines, though the government has restricted all kinds of mass gatherings to curb the virus transmission, a health official said today.
As per schedule, the admission test for MBBS in the country's medical colleges will be held on April 2 while the test for BDS courses in dental colleges and units will be held on April 30.
"The tests will be held for one hour and we have planned to hold those tests by following health safety guideline strictly," Dr Nazmul Islam, director (disease control) and the spokesperson of the Directorate General of Health Services, told The Daily Star today.
Through the tests, a total of 4,350 students will be admitted to 47 government medical colleges while another 8,340 students in 70 private medical colleges for the academic year 2020-21.
