Interim government sworn in Thursday at 8 pm: Army chief

The swearing-in of the interim government will take place at 8 pm on Thursday, Army Chief General Waqar-uz-Zaman said.

He said this in a press conference at the headquarters on Wednesday (August 7) ​​afternoon.

The army chief said, Dr. Yunus will come home on Thursday. I will receive him at the airport. Hopefully, the swearing-in of the interim government will take place on Thursday at 8 pm.

Stating that there may be 15 members in this government, he further said that after overcoming the crisis, we will create a beautiful environment in the country.

Waqar-uz-Zaman said that the army is always with the people and will remain. Don't listen to rumours.

At this time, he appreciated the work of the students in controlling the traffic and requested the students to continue all the positive work including cleanliness.

The army chief said that if the police are active, law and order will be normal in the country. The situation is improving day by day, I hope the situation will be normal soon.
