Foreign Affairs Adviser Touhid Hossain said that the position of the former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, who fled in the face of the agitation, has been confused.
Governments of India and United Arab Emirates have not confirmed any information in this regard. As a result, the government is not sure where Sheikh Hasina is.
The foreign adviser said this in response to questions from journalists at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Tuesday (October 8) at noon.
He said, we could not be sure about her (Sheikh Hasina) position. We also searched in Delhi, we also searched in Emirates. No one could give confirmation officially. But as you have seen, we have also seen that he has probably gone to Ajman. But we did not succeed in trying to re-confirm it.
