Meanwhile, Chinese President Xi Jinping commented that there should be no more destruction in Palestine and Lebanon. At the same time, he said, pressure must be continued for a cease-fire in Gaza, the resumption of the two-state solution and an end to the spread of the war in Lebanon.
Addressing participants at an extended BRICS summit in the southwestern Russian city of Kazan on Thursday (Oct 24), Xi Jinping said we should come forward to build a stable force for peace and find ways to solve existing problems.
