An IED (Improvised Explosive Device) detonated an army vehicle in Pakistan's Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa province. 7 soldiers of the country including the captain were killed in this.

According to the report, the explosion happened in Laki Marwa of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa province on Sunday local time. Seven members of the country's army, including a captain, were killed.
The police also said that they foiled an ambush at a security check post in Bajaur in the province.
Local officials said the vehicle carrying army personnel was attacked near Sultankhel village, a border area of Punjab's Mianwali district, on its way to Kachi Kamar area.
An Improvised Explosive Device (IED) detonated in a security forces vehicle in Lakki Marwat district, a statement from the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) of Pakistan's military said.
The media wing of the country's army also reported that Kasur resident Captain Muhammad Faraz Ilyas, Subedar Major Muhammad Nazir, Lance Naik Muhammad Anwar, Lance Naik Hussain Ali, Sepoy Asadullah of Multan, Sepoy Manzoor Hussain of Gilgit and Sepoy Rashid Mehmood of Rawalpindi district were killed.
