When the elections will be held is a political decision, not ours
The chief adviser of the interim government. Muhammad Yunus said, we have accepted the responsibility of the government at the call of students during the country's crisis. When the elections will be held is purely a political decision, not our decision.
He said, everyone is interested to know about one thing, when our government will leave. The answer is in your hands, when will you let us go. We are not people to rule the country. We find joy in our respective professions. Our advisory board is also motivated by this goal and is working as a team.
He also said that when the elections will be held is a completely political decision, not our decision. Citizens have to decide when you will leave us. We have come at the call of students. They are our primary employer. The vast masses of the country have supported our appointment. We will constantly remind everyone so that the question does not suddenly arise - when will we go. We will leave when they say so.
Dr. Yunus said, we will also reform the Election Commission as part of the reform. Will keep the commission ready for ideal selection at any time.
Dr. Yunus also said, we want your help in a particular matter. Since our assumption of office, rallies are being held every day in the secretariat, around my office, in different parts of the city. You have accumulated many sorrows and troubles of the last 16 years. We understand that. If you don't let us work, then all the ways to get rid of this grief will be closed. Please let us do the work. Give us your request in writing. We are not your opposition party. We will do whatever is legally required.
He said, don't surround us and obstruct our work. Let's all convince them not to interrupt our daily important work to draw attention to their grievances at this time.
