What will the weather be like on Saturday, said the Meteorological Office

Along with rain in many parts of the country, heatwave may continue in 28 districts, said the Meteorological Department.

This information was given in the forecast for the next 24 hours from 6 pm on Friday (June 7).

It said, the extension of low pressure is extending from West Bengal to Northwest Bay of Bengal. Monsoon is fairly active over Bangladesh and moderate elsewhere in northern Bay of Bengal.

In this situation, in most places of Sylhet division by 6 pm on Saturday; Many places in Rangpur, Dhaka, Mymensingh and Chittagong divisions and two or two places in Rajshahi, Khulna and Barisal divisions may experience light to moderate rain with gusty winds or thundershowers. Along with this, moderate to heavy rainfall may occur in some parts of Dhaka, Mymensingh, Chittagong and Sylhet divisions.

Apart from this, mild to moderate heat waves are flowing over Tangail, Faridpur, Madaripur, Gopalganj, Rajshahi, Pabna, Sirajganj, Rangpur, Nilphamari, Panchagarh, Kurigram and Chandpur districts along with Khulna and Barisal divisions and may continue.

The Meteorological Department has also warned that discomfort may prevail due to excess humidity.
