Walton celebrates export success


Despite the Corona epidemic, Walton has shown great success in exporting electronics and technology products made in Bangladesh. In the first three months of this year, Walton surpassed last year's total exports in 2020. Exports of Walton products are constantly increasing in the world market. In this context, Walton authorities have awarded 10 officers of the International Marketing Department (IBU).

On this occasion, a program was organized on Tuesday at the Walton Corporate Office in Bashundhara, Dhaka. Walton Hi-Tech Industries Limited Chairman SM Nurul Alam Rezvi, Director SM Mahbubul Alam and Nishat Tasnim Shuchi attended the Walton Export Achievement Ceremony online.

Also present on the occasion were Tanvir Rahman, CEO of Walton Air Conditioner, Anisur Rahman Mallik, CEO of Refrigerator, Mostafa Nahid Hossain, CEO of Television, Sohail Rana, CEO of Electrical Appliances, Al Imraner, CEO of Home Appliances.

Walton Deputy Managing Director Humayun Kabir and IBU President Edward Kim handed over the crests to the awardees at the time. Deputy Director Ariful Islam conducted the program.

The 10 awardees are Deputy Executive Directors Abdur Rauf, Rakibul Islam, Syed Al Imran and Tousif Al Mahmud, First Senior Deputy Directors Aminul Islam, Talelul Arefin Nadvi and Ibn Jabel, Senior Operative Director Tanvir Hossain and Senior Operative Director Tanvir Hossain. Speaking on the occasion, SM Nurul Alam Rezvi said, "Walton products made in Bangladesh will represent the world market - it was our dream." We can see the successful implementation of which. We believe that Walton will soon become one of the top brands in the world by continuing this trend of export.

SM Mahbubul Alam said Walton is a fast advancing brand in the world market. The success of Walton's exports during the Coronation period also conveyed this message. Walton will take a strong position in the world market with the latest technology products at competitive prices.

Edward Kim said that Walton's international marketing department has set a target of exporting products worth Tk 1,000 crore by June 2024. IBU members are working on a comprehensive plan to achieve the goal.
